  1. As for viewing, is this the best space to view and choose colors in? … photoshop, illustrator and indesign all have drastically different color and it's making it hard for me to choose brand colors

  2. Do you know how to breathe? Can you pause on your sentences? Although I understand it. Yes, consider me as a fob so please, you are not racing with the horse why you are rushing up on talking?

  3. Your stuff is amazing.. but I'm gonna be honest, when I see your name on the search, sometimes I hesitate to click 😅🤣 only because your videos are reaaaally long and usually my time is tight, unfortunately. Please don't take this as criticism or negative feedback, it's just a humble note. Keep up the great work!

  4. Seems it's it's a huge overkill from Adobe creating A DIFFERENT APP for just a simple task that could have been injected with just a widget or something but they choose to reinvent the wheel, anyway thank author for comprehensive explanation

  5. Hi, good video. I was puzzled and wondering if because you worked out the colour difference in swatch I had the same trouble. I had my doc on cymk and applied pantone color however when I clicked on the colour again the values would be in lab/cmyk or some other value other than the pantone, is there a reason for that? It's confusing

  6. Great video. Seems crazy to me that the color shift issue still hasn't been fixed. A year later, any idea what it is? I've played around in both CMYK and RGB color spaces with various swatches in both Photoshop and Illustrator, and even when the swatch matches the color space and everything has been converted, there is still the color issue. It's really annoying. It seems to me that this should've been fixed a long time ago. Up until I watched this video today, I thought it was something that I was doing wrong.

  7. Could be an illusion because the brain produces colours from those surrounding as well like in the orange dot in the shade illusion (https://www.brainhq.com/brain-resources/brain-teasers/adelsons-same-color-illusion) or similar ones with a rubix cube type object… also if you were viewing the adobe color in a web browser then they are limited to srgb where as you might have you photoshop set to adobe rgb colour space? just a thought but I haven't put too much into the second idea.. thought?

  8. the number different thing… isn't it just because the sample is in CMYK and your document is in RGB? and after the "add to swatches" the swatches on the library is rgb instead… so I guess they should put a warning of conversion … maybe

  9. From what I can tell. the colors you sampled are in CMYK and your document is in RGB mode. Switch your document over to CMYK and you should get the same color.
