I think your mileage may vary on this tool. I was trying to move my onedrive for business folder from C to a different SSD. And although the operation is not completed, it's basically taking the same amount of time as windows explorer. When the bulk of your files are small documents such as source code and images, there's not really much that can be done.

I'm 80 yrsold. what software will do this 2*x.pdf filter copy simply
I have several sub folders within C:00Books. I want to COPY all the files into a separate folder that match the filter: 2*x.pdf
We`ll I`m totally peed off with how slow Windows 10 copies files, BUT I`ve tried Terracopy and it doesn't have blazing speed, its perhaps just a bit quicker than Explorer. What annoys me is it starts at a quick transfer speed but within seconds drops down to something incredibly slow. I`m currently copying some files with it and it started of at a speed of just over 50gbs/sec but now its settled down to around 5.57gbs/sec. When you consider that when we were allowed by Seattle to use Win 8.1 the transfer speed was usally around 200gbs/sec, a0 why is Win 10 always around 13gbs/sec which can then slow to mbs/sec or even kbs/sec and Terracopy as I say with the files Im just transferring, Oh! its gone up to 8.95gbs/sec WOW! Does anyone know of a third party copier that works at really decent speeds please???????
So I just tried it, I copied a 4Gb RAR file to an USB key, with Teracopy 0.48sec, with Explorer 4.5 min. Wowyy how can this be, anyway thanks
Tera copy won't allow drag and drop, or allow it as a copy option from an sd card with my mobile plugged into my laptop

nope doesnt work on my cruzer glide 3.1 30+ minutes for a 40gb file on windows 10 its like a bad joke
Im using it tofrqnfer files from a wdpr4100 to a drive in my pc , it does same thing as explorer it stops
What windows skins are you using. Looks like Linux of mac
For me it was like 2 seconds slower than Explorer, but I will use it overnight to test it with over a million files to another drive, when I did it with explorer, some folders were not copied over, when I woke up there was no message or anything, just missing folders, so hopefully this will work, I don't care about the speed, just need it to copy everything.
TeraCopy is amazing. My favorite feature is the automatic queuing when you copy multiple directories.
ultracopier is freeware and its the overlord of all file managers

Thanks for the review, was literally on the fence about getting this until I saw this video 😀
I just heard of it for the first time and gave it a try. No, it's not faster. Windows 10 Pro, 64bit. 28 files at 614MB total. File Explorer took 14 seconds at about 48 MB/s. TeraCopy took 19 seconds at about 31 MB/s. Same files, same source, same destination. Source was an SSD drive to a HD on a NAS over 1GB network. No fancy settings selected.
Causes multiple errors to files especially video files, might be okay for text files but I've had to delete loads of video files damaged by teracopy
