Thank you I learned from this
i feel a lot more comfortable helping out some1 in person, actually being there and seeing the problem with my own eyes, maybe its because i've had too many questions that were a bit out of level 1 range and its really hard to explain some of the more advanced issues.
Dont't get me wrong, i like this job but to get this short:
1st Level: lol, dont Care
2.nd Level: Well, i care, but i dont't know and there is nothing on the first google Page. but in the end, i don't care.
3rd Level: Lol, I Dont't care. But i have to do this or i'm fucked… Wait…. The Problem only effets one Person? I dont care. Lets fix/install this server and whatch YT Videos 😀
-reroute to 2nd Level with Note "reeinstall his device"
2nd Level: now i have to to something… wait, the Ticket escalets next week? NEW VIDEO ON YOUTUBE? Awsome.
one week later
2nd Level: Lets contact User…. Problem does not exist anymore… User Thanks me for my work? nice. Now, whats YT Videos.
These are the Best Problems. Love it.
I'm an IT Consultant. Why am i watching this? :')
What a detailed overview
What about salary growth
Would you recommend the HP 200g3 core i3, 8gig ram, 1tb hard drive, all in one for an IT support staff for a small company of 12?
I skipped level 1 and went straight to level 2 support on my first IT job. Small IT company taught me level 2 while they watching me, and I watching them do the job. Coworkers said I was so lucky to land a job on level two with no experience😁💪🏽
i got no experience or graduation in computer field but N+, RHCSA & bit of lying land me lvl 2 job xD
Does anyone here who graduated from an IT/CS course but forgot all the things learned from college? Haha
I want the video of router and sutures
If anyone want to work in these levels in a company then they have to have a college degree? or good skills & 3+years work experience the same field are enough for these level of jobs after complete high school with some certification like MCSA+CCNA+ITIL something like this?
Or must have a college degree for that jobs?
video starts at 2:20
Best explanation ever! thank you so much!
helpdesk = dead end i started my It career as a system admin
what are the actual numbers of how many people in 'EYE TEA" are in level 1 positions level 2 and 3?
and what is the average mount of time people stay in tech of those levels or move on to something else?
one thing you don't want to fall into is staying in those beginning levels for too long otherwise your career is toast.
Thank you
IT SUPPORT SUCKS LOSERS DO THAT REAL IT GUYS ARE DEVELOPER HAHHA
Wow Nice Explanation 👌
Nice example. Thank you.
Are there any training videos out there?
Hi I'm studying A+ . With that could I be lvl 2 or 3
what certificate required to get a job as an IT support? is there any certificate for L1 L2 L3??
thanks for explaining
Some companies (typically smaller staff teams) have a discreet level 4.
Level 4 would be advanced billing such as dealing with and processing manual refunds for products or services, investigating chargebacks and service outages, level 1-3 is mostly knowledge related, above that is trust and attitude towards the company as you're getting into management level.
Coming from a level 4, it's worth it if you can bear the stress it'll generate initially, it eventually all becomes muscle memory and good fun.
Good job. But please, do you mean a CCNA or CCNP certificate holder is a Level 3 guy?
Level 1: Can I take your information?
Level 2: Can you reboot your computer?
Level 3: The additional router you introduced to the network is acting as a rogue DHCP server.
<——- Liked and Subscribed. Thank you for your explanation.
I'm currently in lvl one or "help desk" in a health care environment. It's ass, to much damn technology to keep track off, and not enough time to train. I haven't even resolved 90% of my tickets because I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Then I get bitched at for not resolving or spending more than 5min on the phone. For 14$ an hr, this is bs, but I know it will get better hopefully.
"service desk superhero" — the best book on I've found on IT support.
Excellent video! Very clear explanation! Amazing! Thank you so much!
Just today i got my L1 in capgemini
How to get into level1 tech support with Commerce background
Great information.
I'm just starting out in IT.
Thank you for this information Sir.
I have no schooling but I have a home lab and offer support through social media. Would that be something I could share with recruiters or employees?
what should i do after high school to become a help desk?
thank you for this description
Wow!! I am in Scotland. I have a BSc degree in IT, also a PgCert. in IT College Lecturing. I have worked in 1st line and 2nd line (desktop support) for over 15 years with a little IT Projects exposure. Despite all this, and the fact that I am really good at IT, I am unable to secure a full 3rd line server admin role, after applying for literally hundreds these past 6 years. I do find that females in Scotland are massively discriminated against in IT, treated as 2nd class to men. That's my experience.
Really awesome..you have been great bru appreciated..thanks I am just starting my First helpdesk support level 1 support
great work broo nice
timecode 03:50 quote: “Level 1 agent is responsible for managing tickets. Level 1 will pick a ticket up and resolve that issue.” It's a common mistake to define the role of level 1 agents in that way. If a level 1 agent would manage the tickets, the level 2 agent has nothing to do and no hierarchy at all is the result. What level 1 agents are doing instead is to communicate between the customer and level 2 two. That means, it's the job of level 1 to request a ticket from level 2. This is called deescalation.
It's not a problem, that in the video this point was explained wrong, because the rest of the presentation was also not very well.
I skipped lvl1, jumping to lvl2 hehe..working for lvl3 under system admin
What is a jr desktop support role
