Researchers have conducted a study to determine the environmental impact of cycling to work as opposed to driving. Their findings indicate that making a simple switch from driving to cycling for just one daily commute over 200 workdays in a year can result in a substantial reduction of half a tonne of carbon dioxide emissions annually. This means that by choosing to pedal to work instead of driving, individuals can significantly minimize their carbon footprint and contribute to a greener planet.
